Such a delicious bargain - the Methode Cap Classique. It's the traditional sparkling method of South Africa, but in this case (and the white Satin Nectar) made rather sweeter and more honeyed - to the Demi-Sec level. What this does in Champagne and its lookalikes is give an extra layer of richness to the fruit. Also makes a fab dessert wine - or at the very end of a long lunch/dinner. So soft, glistening and refreshing.
