Bold, spicy, concentrated.
Sposa e Sposa isn't an oddity as it might sound: it's a rich, concentrated red from an extremely talented pair of wine makers, Ben Glaetzer and Nick Keukenmeeste, who make delicious Heartland reds at Ben's Barossa winery. This big gem is made from varieties that some might say are obscure even at their source in Italy! Lagrein and Dolcetto. I'd describe the Lagrein as the weight and the Dolcetto as the freshness - but that would oversimplify a complex equation of winemaking skill that you can't escape when you taste. The aroma, so appetising - dark fruit and oak - the palate long and intense and the finish encouraging the next sip.
